Joey’s inner strength showed throughout his battle. He proved to all who knew him that he possessed an abundance of strength, courage, and determination.

It is insurmountable for the brave to advance alone. Joey was able to accomplish what he did through a remarkable support system in which his entire community was involved. It was the unity found in the community that allowed Joey to push forward through his most difficult battle.

We want to thank Joey’s former teammates and coaches, his friends and the Pearl River community.
